1. What OkazMarket Is (and Isn’t — Yet)

OkazMarket is building a prediction market platform for the Middle East, where users will be able to trade contracts tied to the outcomes of real-world events. Prices on such markets reflect the market’s collective estimate of how likely an event is.

Today, the Service consists only of informational content and a waitlist. No trading, deposits, or accounts are available yet. Anything on the Service that describes trading, markets, or platform features describes planned functionality that may change, launch later than announced, launch only in some countries, or not launch at all.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with us and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live, if higher).
• You are not subject to sanctions and are not listed on any sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the United States (including OFAC), the European Union, or the United Kingdom.
• You are not located in, and are not a resident or citizen of, a jurisdiction where use of the Service or trading in prediction markets is prohibited (a “Restricted Jurisdiction”).
• You will not use a VPN, proxy, or any other tool to disguise your location or circumvent geographic restrictions.
• You are using the Service on your own behalf and not for a person who could not meet these requirements.

When the trading platform launches, we will publish the list of supported and restricted jurisdictions, and access to trading will require identity and eligibility verification.

3. The Waitlist

Joining the waitlist requires a valid email address. Joining does not create an account, does not guarantee access to the platform at launch, and does not create any obligation on us to launch the platform or provide you with any service. Early-access places, if any, are allocated at our sole discretion, have no cash value, and are not transferable.

By joining, you consent to receive emails from us about OkazMarket. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the waitlist at any time by contacting us.

4. No Investment Advice

Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and nothing on the Service is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any asset or to enter into any transaction. Market prices, odds, statistics, and commentary are provided for informational purposes only. We do not act as your broker, advisor, or fiduciary, and no fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the Service. You are solely responsible for your decisions, and you should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

5. Risk Disclosure

Trading contracts based on the outcomes of events involves significant risk and is not suitable for everyone. When trading launches, the following will apply — and we state it now so there are no surprises:

• Event contracts are speculative and volatile. The outcome of an event may differ from your expectation, from the views of experts, and from market prices at any moment.
• You can lose the entire amount you commit to a position. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
• Market prices are set by supply and demand, not by OkazMarket, and can move quickly and unpredictably.
• You may not be able to exit a position at the price you want — or at all — if there is no matching demand.
• Trading happens on electronic systems that can suffer outages or delays; you may be unable to access the platform while markets move or close.
• Trading may be halted or suspended, and markets may be voided, in accordance with the market rules.
• Past performance of any market, trader, or strategy is not indicative of future results.

Full risk disclosures and trading rules will be provided before you place your first trade, and you will be required to accept them.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to do any of the following, and not to help anyone else do so:

• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or these Terms, or while located in a Restricted Jurisdiction.
• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Interfere with the Service — including probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, transmitting malware, or attempting denial-of-service attacks.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service, or access it by automated means without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
• Once markets launch: engage in market manipulation of any kind — including trading on material non-public information obtained through a breach of trust or unlawful means, wash trading, spoofing, front-running, colluding to fix prices, or any trading intended to create a false or misleading appearance of market activity.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and report conduct to the authorities where we believe these rules have been broken.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and everything in it — including the OkazMarket name, logo, design, text, graphics, and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to third-party websites and services (including social media platforms). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised; material changes will be highlighted on the Service or communicated by email where appropriate. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the information on it is complete, accurate, or current.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OkazMarket and its founders, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service — even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to one hundred (100) US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OkazMarket and its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or any third party’s rights.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@okazmarket.com with a description of the dispute and to attempt in good faith to resolve it with us informally for at least sixty (60) days.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and you waive the right to participate in any class or representative action to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. The Arabic and English versions of these Terms have the same content; in case of any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
