The Arab world moves fast — energy, sport, politics. Yet the tools that turn what our region knows into signals anyone can read have always been built somewhere else, in other languages, for other audiences. OkazMarket is our answer: a prediction market platform designed for the Arab world first, in Arabic first.
Why “Okaz”?
Souq Okaz was the most storied marketplace of pre-Islamic Arabia. Once a year, near Taif, merchants, poets, and tribal leaders gathered — to trade goods, yes, but also to trade views, settle rivalries, and hear the finest poetry of the age performed aloud. It was a market for ideas as much as for merchandise — which is precisely what a prediction market is. We took the name as a promise: to build a modern Okaz where the region's knowledge comes together.

We believe the people closest to an event understand it best. From football fans in Riyadh to energy analysts in Abu Dhabi to the café tables of Cairo, the Arab world collectively knows an enormous amount about its own future. OkazMarket gives that knowledge a home: Arabic-first design, markets that matter here, and a product shaped around the way we actually trade, debate, and take part.
