1. Information We Collect

We deliberately collect very little. Today, we collect:

• Waitlist information — your email address and preferred language when you join the waitlist.
• Usage information — the pages you visit, your IP address, an approximate country derived from it, your language, and the domain of the site that referred you.
• Marketing attribution — campaign tags (UTM parameters) and advertising click identifiers (for example from Google, Meta, or X) if you arrive through a marketing link.

We do not collect names, government IDs, or payment information at this stage. When the trading platform launches, opening an account will require identity verification, and an updated privacy policy will describe that data in detail before you provide it.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Manage the waitlist and contact you about OkazMarket, early access, and launch updates.
• Understand where visitors come from and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: one that remembers your language preference, and one that remembers the first marketing campaign that brought you to the site. We do not currently run third-party analytics scripts or advertising pixels on the Service; if that changes, this Policy will be updated first.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers — the companies that host our website and database and deliver our emails, which process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
• Authorities — where required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
• A successor — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your data.

5. Data Retention

We keep waitlist information until the platform launches and you either create an account or ask us to delete your data. Usage and attribution data is kept in aggregate form for analytics, and raw records are deleted periodically. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your Rights”).

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Transfers

We are a United States company, and our infrastructure is provided by cloud vendors — so your data may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries outside your country of residence. Where data crosses borders, we take steps designed to keep it protected in line with this Policy.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@okazmarket.com from the address concerned — we will verify the request and respond within a reasonable period. Every marketing email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates take effect when posted here with a revised date, and material changes will be flagged on the Service or by email.
